Newton Funding Bulletin

Newton gov logo

The International Unit compiles a regular Newton Funding Bulletin for whenever new calls are announced or deadlines are looming for the Newton Fund.

The UK Higher Education International Unit, British Council, and partners are working with the Government and partners in developing the £375 million five-year Newton Fund. The  partner countries are 15 fast-developing economies: China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Turkey, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Egypt and Kazakhstan.

This new funding should promote the long term economic development and welfare of people in partner countries and unlock new opportunities for HEIs to contribute and build partnerships. The fund is administered by BIS.
